Admatec Introduces US$92,500 Desktop Ceramic 3D Printer
Admatec has introduced a US$92,500 desktop ceramic DLP system with open material settings and an upgrade path, while key performance specifications remain undisclosed.

Admatec Additive Solutions of the Netherlands has introduced the Admaflex Discovery, a desktop DLP system intended as an entry point to technical-ceramic additive manufacturing. According to Nanji Xiong, the system is priced at US$92,500 and is aimed primarily at universities and research institutions, with industrial use also envisaged.
Discovery carries over concepts from the Admaflex 130, including foil handling, material circulation, full-layer control and Z-axis zero-position clamping. Supported materials include alumina (Al₂O₃), silica (SiO₂) and a base resin for custom slurries. Users can adjust material and process parameters, while Admaflex 3.0 is operated through a 7-inch screen or a PC on the same network.
Admatec says the platform can be upgraded to configurations offering a larger build area and higher projection resolution. The source, however, does not provide standard or expanded build dimensions, resolution, print speed or a confirmed shipping date, and no independent performance comparison is included. Pricing and upgrade claims therefore remain manufacturer-supplied information.
Key facts
