Anycubic has announced an exclusive partnership with 3D-model sharing platform Thingiverse. The companies plan to make Thingiverse’s library of more than two million models easier to access through Anycubic’s Makeronline platform, with a dedicated collaboration section scheduled to launch on November 17, 2026.

As an initial step, selected models will be adapted for multicolor printing and converted from STL to 3MF. Because 3MF can retain information such as color and material alongside geometry, the conversion could reduce setup work on compatible printers. The partnership extends Anycubic’s ecosystem beyond hardware toward model discovery and print preparation.

The announcement comes from an Anycubic press release, and the dedicated section is not yet live. It does not establish that every model will be copied or converted, and the companies have not detailed selection criteria, compatible printers, which print settings will be embedded in 3MF files, or how creator licenses and attribution will be handled. Usability and coverage will need to be assessed after launch.
