CMS to Demonstrate Six-Axis Krearob LFAM System at Formnext
CMS will demonstrate its six-axis Krearob large-format thermoplastic additive system at Formnext 2026, supporting 3- and 5-axis printing and up to 30 kg/h extrusion.

Krearob integrates a Comau six-axis robot, Sinumerik ONE control, CMS extrusion unit, slicer, and HMI. It has a 3 m working radius, a 2.5 × 1.5 m table, and extrusion capacity up to 30 kg/h for large tooling, molds, and complex components. CMS plans live demonstrations at Formnext Hall 12.0, Stand D51.
CMS claims up to 80% lower material use and part weight than conventional technologies and up to 60% lower CO₂ emissions based on life-cycle assessment. These are manufacturer figures that depend on material, geometry, and reference process, not independent production validation.
Key facts
- Architecture: Comau six-axis robot with Sinumerik ONE
- Printing: 3-axis and 5-axis
- Extrusion capacity: up to 30 kg/h
- Working radius: 3 m; table: 2.5 × 1.5 m
Context
CMS is positioning Krearob alongside its gantry-based Kreator A3, allowing manufacturers to choose between robotic geometric freedom and a defined machine envelope.
