Polymaker Unveils CymphoniK for Mixing 100+ LFAM Colors from Six Pellets
Polymaker has introduced CymphoniK, a color-mixing system for pellet-extrusion LFAM that combines six base pellets with recipe software.

Polymaker’s CymphoniK combines materials and software so large-format additive manufacturing users can mix required colors on site. Its six-pellet base uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black, plus white and neutral. The company says it has validated more than 100 colors with the first material, PETG-1213 R50.
The online CymphoniK Palette offers laboratory-tested recipes and an AI model that proposes mixing ratios from CIE Lab, RGB, CMYK or a visual picker. Polymaker says printed samples are checked with Delta E and that mixing has been tested across several LFAM printers and extruders. It has not named those hardware partners or published independent test results.
The system targets the minimum orders, lead times and dedicated inventory associated with custom masterbatch pellets. Polymaker plans demonstrations at Formnext in November 2026 and says translucent colors are planned, without giving a release date.
Key facts
- The base palette consists of CMYK, white and neutral pellets.
- PETG-1213 R50 is the first material; Polymaker claims more than 100 validated colors.
- Palette provides tested recipes and AI-predicted ratios for custom colors.
- Hardware partners and independent performance validation have not been disclosed.
Context
CymphoniK could make low-volume custom colors more practical for LFAM providers, although repeatability still needs validation in production workflows.
