Prusa makes polymer pellets available in smaller batches

Smaller pellet batches give workshops and laboratories access to raw polymers without industrial bulk orders. Packs up to 14 kg are supplied pre-dried.

Prusa Research announced smaller-quantity sales of the resin pellets used to manufacture Prusament. The offer targets pellet-fed large-format printing, filament extrusion and material experimentation.

Access to smaller batches gives workshops a way to explore feedstock before committing to industrial quantities. Pellets require a compatible extrusion system; they are not a drop-in replacement for filament in a standard FFF printer.

Key facts

  • Four polymers are offered: PLA, PETG, ASA and PC Blend.
  • Small-batch packages top out at 14 kg.
  • The feedstock is dried and sealed before dispatch.

Context

Smaller workshops gain a more approachable route into pellet experiments. This expands feedstock access; it does not announce a new printer.
