Chinese PLA producer Hisun Biomaterials (688203.SH) reported January–September 2026 revenue of RMB 953,335,942.58, up 53.41% year on year, and attributable net profit of RMB 27,446,953.50, up 459.49%. Third-quarter revenue alone was RMB 347,008,872.77, up 62.76%.

The company attributed growth partly to continued demand in 3D printing materials. This is management's explanation in an unaudited quarterly filing, which does not separately disclose 3D printing revenue; the profit increase is therefore not a direct measure of market-wide growth.

Key facts

  • Jan–Sep revenue: RMB 953,335,942.58 (up 53.41%)
  • Attributable net profit: RMB 27,446,953.50 (up 459.49%)
  • Q3 revenue: RMB 347,008,872.77 (up 62.76%)
  • Quarterly report is unaudited

Context

The filing signals FDM-related PLA demand at an upstream supplier, but more end-use disclosure is needed to quantify the contribution.
