Bambu Lab Unveils H3C 3D Printer With Nine-Tool Changer
Bambu Lab has introduced the H3C, a new FFF 3D printer that switches among nine independent print tools in under six seconds.

Bambu Lab announced the H3C on November 3 as its first third-generation 3D printer. Its Swaptek system carries nine print tools, each with a dedicated filament path and heater, and the company says a material change takes under six seconds.
The machine has a 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume, a 350°C maximum nozzle temperature, a 120°C bed and a chamber actively heated to 65°C. It accepts both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm filament. The H3C with AMS 3H is listed in Japan at ¥449,900 including tax and shipping.
Claims about nine-material operation, faster soft-TPU printing and time savings over earlier machines come from Bambu Lab and have not yet been independently validated. The enclosure measures 493 × 571 × 587 mm and weighs 36.28 kg with the AMS 3H.
Key facts
- Swaptek architecture with nine independent tools
- Manufacturer-rated material change under six seconds
- 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume
- Japan price is ¥449,900 for H3C plus AMS 3H
Context
It broadens desktop FFF options for combining materials, nozzle sizes and auxiliary tools, while real-world speed and waste reductions still need independent testing.
