According to reporting by 3D Printing Industry from SprintRay's 3DNext 2026 event in Miami Beach, the company introduced Foundation, a wireless full-color intraoral scanner, and ScanOS, a scanning layer inside its cloud dashboard. The combination is intended to remove the export-and-upload step previously required when practices used third-party scanners, passing scans directly into design and production.

The accompanying Nano Series consists of NanoPrint with a 385 nm light engine, NanoWash for automated washing and drying, and NanoCure for final post-processing. Together they occupy less than 30 inches of counter space, while AutoPrint and Job Handoff pass case data between stages. Foundation and Nano Series are scheduled to ship in November 2026. Foundation launches first in the US; Nano Series is planned for the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the EU, subject to regional regulation. The Canadian launch excludes NanoWash.

SprintRay says more than 20 million dental parts have been made within its ecosystem and that over 80% of chairside print jobs involve one patient and one case. Those figures come from the company's own analysis rather than an independent audit. SprintRay and GC Corporation also announced GC GRADIA PREMi, a hybrid ceramic restorative resin for Midas Digital Press, but clinical indications, performance labeling, and regional availability remain subject to approved labeling and regulatory review.

Key facts

  • Foundation is a wireless full-color intraoral scanner integrated with ScanOS.
  • Nano Series combines NanoPrint, NanoWash, and NanoCure in under 30 inches of counter space.
  • NanoPrint uses a 385 nm light engine, with AutoPrint and Job Handoff linking production data.
  • Shipments are planned for November 2026, with availability and configuration varying by regulatory region.

Context

The launch advances the shift toward a single chairside environment from scan through post-processing, while closed workflow choices and region-specific approvals remain important adoption constraints.
