xTool Launches X1 Hybrid Gantry-Galvo Laser Platform
xTool has launched the modular X1 laser platform with a surface-working area up to 615 × 320 mm and claimed galvo speeds up to 6,000 mm/s.

The X1 combines gantry motion and galvo scanning in a four-axis Hybrid Motion architecture intended to pair a large work area with fast scanning. Its LaserSwap system supports configurations with 55 W CO₂, 20 W diode, 30 W fiber, 5 W UV, or 60 W MOPA sources. Surface working area is 615 × 320 mm; xTool lists up to 600 mm/s for CO₂ and 6,000 mm/s for diode, UV, MOPA, and fiber modes.
Launch pricing starts at $3,399 for CO₂ only, $3,999 with diode, $5,799 with fiber, $6,499 with UV, and $6,679 with MOPA. Speed, precision, and material compatibility are manufacturer specifications that depend on source, material, and settings. Ventilation, toxic-fume, fire, and laser-safety controls remain application-specific requirements.
