Align Technology says it is starting a U.S. pilot of Invisalign Sports Guard, a finished mouthguard produced by direct 3D printing. Each device is designed from an iTero intraoral scan, offered in multiple thicknesses, and distributed through participating Invisalign providers. Unlike thermoforming over a printed model, the final product itself is printed. Align has not announced a broader commercial launch date.

Align reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.0148 billion, up 1.9% year over year. Clear Aligner revenue rose 4.2% to $839.3 million on roughly 690,600 cases, up 6.6%, while Imaging Systems and CAD/CAM Services revenue fell 7.6% to $175.5 million. Statements about resin advantages and the size of the mouthguard market are company claims; product pricing and expected revenue contribution were not disclosed.
